EZ-TURN uses the same Windows interface and shares the same CAD functions as EZ-MILL and EZ-EDM. It has user definable coordinate systems allowing multiple turret and multiple spindle programming. Machining cycles include custom stock roughing, grooving and cut-off operations. EZ-TURN allows you to take advantage of canned cycles to minimize the size of NC programs.
You can now create multiple tool libraries, mixing and matching tools to suit your own specific machining needs. Solid Model toolpath simulation lets you catch your mistakes before running the program on your CNC lathe. Post processors are available for virtually any machine.
EZ-TURN now supports lathes with C and Y axis, 2.5D Milling opeations can be applied on the projected diameter of the part or on face. Simulation of milling cycles are performed along with turning cycles. Ready-to-go G-code programs are created for Mazak, Hitachi and Fanuc.
EZ-MILL's advanced CAD interface lets you design your parts in maximum productivity. You can also import other CAD files with the IGES and DXF filters. Automation with VBScript Macros and Integrated spreadsheet for machining parameters increase your efficiency. The new Pocketing with islands cycle can climb mill any pocket shape with multiple collapse points. For 4th axis users, EZ-Mill provides multiple work planes for indexing and supports 4th axis simultaneous cutting.
EZ-MILL includes surface design and machining capability. Advanced surface editing allows you to apply local changes and extensions. Robust machining cycles include flow machining with checksurfaces, 3D projection and Constant Z level roughing.
EZ-MILL Pro option enhances surface creation capability and adds support for IGES-NURBS surfaces. Surface geometry can be created for virtually any 3D shape with over 17 surface types.
